Our Experienced Estate Planning Attorneys & Staff
Arizona estate and business planning attorney, Timothy R. Geiger, unlike many attorneys who come to the profession because they enjoy sparring, became an attorney because of his love for legal analysis, and pragmatic and logical problem solving. He has been drawn to the law for most of his life.

Timothy was born and raised in southeastern Wisconsin where his parents, who have been happily married for 40 years, taught him fundamental moral values and a strong, dedicated work ethic. These values have followed Timothy throughout his life, and guide him in his professional and personal life. Timothy's passion and work ethic extend beyond the practice of law - he is an avid age-group triathlete having completed numerous triathlons of all distances; including an Ironman at Madison, Wisconsin in 2007.

Tim's legal experience spans more than a decade and began in 1999 as a paralegal with the Arizona Attorney General's Office. It was there that he first began to develop his skills for analyzing complex legal issues. Over the last 15 years, Tim has refined and developed the skills and knowledge he gained as a paralegal while working for the Arizona Attorney General's Office and Maricopa County Attorney's Office. He worked in high volume criminal prosecution and appeals units with both offices assisting the best criminal prosecutors in the State of Arizona with some of the the most complicated cases in the nation. He developed the skills that allow him to analyze and breakdown the most complicated legal issues in estate and business planning, and assist clients in not just planning their estate or business, but in understanding the plan and the reasons for it.

Following a four year career as a paralegal, Timothy's drive and motivation lead him to law school. He chose Southern Illinois University because he believes a law school with smaller class sizes allows for more student-faculty interaction (rather than a prestigous name with classes so large many students often have no personal interaction with the faculty), which leads to a graduate and attorney who is better prepared to serve his clients.

Since graduating from law school Timothy has gained valuable experience in small business law, estate planning, elder law, criminal law, family law, bankruptcy, litigation and consumer law. He has assisted on, prepared, filed and litigated cases in every Arizona court, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court - Arizona, the United States District Court - Arizona, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

It is Timothy's hope to put this experience and dedication to the highest quality standards to work assisting you with whatever has brought you to the decision or need to consult with and hire an attorney. Call Geiger Law Offices today and speak with Timothy about your legal questions and concerns.
